Strengthening the Quality Culture: Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia Promotes Sustainable SPMI Implementation.
IULI Strengthens Quality Culture Through SPMI Document Development Assistance at LLDIKTI Region IV
Serang – August 11, 2026, Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia (IULI) attended a guidance session on drafting Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) documents. The event was held in accordance with Permendiktisaintek (Regulation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology) No. 10 of 2026—in conjunction with Permendiktisaintek No. 39 of 2025—regarding Higher Education Quality Assurance (Region V). The session took place at Universitas Pamulang (Serang Campus), located on the Lintas Serang–Jakarta in Kampung Malandang, Walantaka District, Serang City, Banten.
The event was opened by the Head of LLDIKTI IV, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum., who emphasized the commitment required from every university within the LLDIKTI IV region (Region V) and noted that the event would provide attendees with the opportunity to update their SPMI documents.
Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia (IULI) continues to strengthen its commitment to fostering a culture of quality through the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). This initiative is a strategic component in ensuring that all higher education operations are conducted in a focused, measurable, and sustainable manner.
Representatives from Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia—Runita Rizkiyanti Putri, ST., B.Eng., MSc., and Patmah Fatoni, S.Si., M.Eng.—participated in the initiative to strengthen the SPMI within the LLDIKTI Region IV (Region V) area. Their participation was part of an effort to build a shared understanding of the importance of quality assurance while encouraging the active involvement of all university stakeholders in enhancing the quality of the institution.
In its implementation, the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) employs the PPEPP cycle—comprising the Setting, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement of higher education standards. This cycle serves as the foundation for Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia (IULI) to undertake systematic and continuous quality enhancement.
The higher education quality assurance system is conducted in accordance with PDDIKTI guidelines, utilizing the principle of triangulation. This principle involves verifying information by drawing upon various complementary data sources and perspectives, encompassing both internal and external quality assurance systems.
A potential aspect of SPMI implementation is the online reporting process conducted via the official portal of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek): https://spmi.kemdiktisaintek.go.id. Through this portal, Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia submits reports regarding the implementation and evaluation of its SPMI. In addition to SPMI reporting, Universitas Lintas Internasional Indonesia—which operates under LLDIKTI Region IV—can access SEMAR (Academic Quality Evaluation and Higher Education Report Card System). SEMAR serves as a quality monitoring and evaluation platform that was launched on June 22, 2026, with an initial three-month trial period. Access to SEMAR is obtained by registering at sisinfo.lldikti4.id, a process that utilizes data pulled from SPMI, SISTER, and PDDIKTI.
